Express interest in applying for final round of funding in the current grant strategy
Date: 14/07/2026
The current Friends Provident Foundation grant strategy has been running since 2024. So far, we have awarded 36 grants, spending more than £4.5 million of the £5 million budget. The strategy ends in 2027 and we’re coming towards the final round of funding decisions.
If you think your work is a fit and you’re thinking about applying, you need to complete our Say Hello form by Friday 7th August 2026. The Say Hello is a light touch way to express your interest in applying and test out the fit of your work without the work of a full application.
Competitive round
As this is the last round in the current grant strategy, we expect a very competitive round. We have around £250,000 available to award in the final round and this is likely to be awarded to two or three applicants.
If you’ve previously spoken with us or applied unsuccessfully, we encourage you to consider the feedback you received: unless your work or approach has changed significantly, it’s unlikely that a new enquiry would lead to a different outcome.
Who should apply?
We continue to look for organisations whose work aligns with the aims of our current funding strategy. We fund work that helps to create a fair and sustainable economy, particularly through transforming financial systems and building and supporting a movement for a new economy. Before expressing interest via our Say Hello process, we encourage organisations to read about our priorities and previously funded work.
Next steps
Final decisions on funding will be made at our Board of Trustees meeting in March 2027 and those offered grants will receive initial funds shortly after.
We’re grateful to everyone who has engaged with this strategy over the last three years. As we approach its conclusion we’re looking forward both to making the final grants under the current programme and to developing the Foundation’s next strategy, with details to be published in spring 2027.
