Women at work: designing a company fit for the future

Working patterns and career structures have been set up by men to suit male needs and have changed little over the years. The current corporate environment prioritises profits and competition over social cohesion and quality of life. But what if women could run things with different structures and priorities?

 

These are just some of the ideas to emerge from a new project undertaken by Deborah Hargreaves, founder of the High Pay Centre, who was funded by a journalist fellowship from Friends Provident Foundation.
