Pay ratios

The Foundation is keen to address the issue of Pay Ratios within its work towards a fair economy.

Chief executives now typically earn 129 times more, including pensions and bonuses, than their employees.

Currently, no FTSE 100 company publishes its chief executive to employee pay ratio according to the High Pay Centre and Government has condemned the “irrational, unhealthy and growing gap between what these companies pay their workers and what they pay their bosses” and called for all listed companies to publish the ratio between chief executive and average worker pay.

The Foundation is keen to address this issue within its work towards a fair economy and encourages pay transparency in direct investments and ask that funds (such as SEIFII and other funds) are aware of and are assessing remuneration systems as part of the due diligence process.
