Marloes Nicholls is Head of Programmes at the Finance Innovation Lab – a charity working to build a financial system that serves people and planet. She is a member of the Foundation’s Programme Advisory Group, focussing on systems change.

At the Lab, Marloes leads research, advocacy and incubation of financial innovation that puts social and environmental purpose at its heart. She has spoken about the responsible use of data in finance at events including The ODI Summit and The Alan Turing Institute’s AI Ethics in Finance conference, and she taught the data ethics module of Cranfield University’s new MSc in Retail and Digital Banking.

Marloes also currently advises the responsible finance provider Moneyline and the Money and Pensions Service. Previously, she worked at the think tank Meteos and Oxfam, and she co-founded the campaign for ethical banking – Move Your Money UK.
